TVR Evaporators
C. E. Rogers Company's Thermal Vapor Recompression (TVR) falling film evaporator systems offer exceptional thermal efficiency for concentrating products compatible with thermal, tubular evaporator design. The multiple effect design, coupled with TVR and efficient product preheating, results in substantial energy savings for the processor.

C. E. Rogers Company TVR falling film evaporator systems are designed to produce the highest possible evaporation per pound of steam through time-tested heat balance research. This exceptional efficiency assures the processor of uniformly low operating costs. Continuous, full capacity operation is guaranteed for periods of over 20 hours without capacity fall-off or costly shutdowns. Specially proportioned tangential product inlets with clean vortex separators provide positive entrainment control to save valuable solids with recovery efficiencies of up to 99.9%.

Typical thermal efficiency for a 6-effect TVR falling film evaporator for skim milk or sweet whey can be up 13:1 (pounds of water evaporation to one pound of steam used). C. E. Rogers Company TVR evaporators can be designed to efficiently process a full spectrum of flow rates.
